3rd Annual Ontario Region Golf Classic – Solidarity Works!

Union members and employers came together for the 3rd Annual Unifor Charity Golf Classic held in Milton, Ontario on June 4, 2016. Over the years union members from the former CEP and now Unifor union have raised an astounding $400,000 through golf tournaments held in support of the SBHAC!

The ON region golf classic draws almost 300 avid golfers and volunteers to two courses at the Granite Ridge Golf and Country Club for a round of golf and a delicious dinner in support of SBHAC. Over $20,000 was raised at this year’s event. SBHAC National Manager, Bonnie Hidlebaugh, assisted by SBHAC board President Susana Scott and her daughter Victoria, board members Ken Stickle and Andrea MacBride helped prepare the registration giveaways and sold tickets for the 50/50 draw. Of course, this tournament only exists because of the enormous amount of work provided by Unifor National Rep Mike Kachurowksi and his able team of union volunteers.
