Clear skies and cool weather greeted enthusiastic golfers who joined us on September 15th for our 5th Annual SBHAC Golf Classic.  Many Thanks to everyone who came out to support SBHAC, and the volunteers who helped make the event a success.

The round of golf was followed up with a delicious chicken and ribs dinner prepared by the very worthy chef and staff at Kingswood Golf and Country Club.  They were particularly helpful in ensuring that all golfers were looked after and had a great day.

Congratulations to the Best Team of Kris McLean, David Gates, Matt Thiessen and Wayne Ostrowski.  Individual achievement honours go to Velma Lang for Women’s Longest Drive, Kris McLean for Men’s Longest Drive and David Gates for Closest to the Pin plus a win at the Putting Contest.

The $10,000 Hole-In-One prize continues to allude golfers, although a few came very close this year.  Better luck next year!
