October 13, 2017 | Joey Pothe On World Mental Health Day, October 10, the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) called for integrated care for people with complex disabilities. Today, IF joins the celebration of World Mental Health Day by launching our animation “Reclaiming my health”, on the importance of mental health and well-being of people living with complex conditions such as Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. We want to seize the opportunity to highlight that both mental health and physical health are key to achieve balance in our lives. This animation aims to show the interconnection of mental and physical health and to help remove the stigma of having a mental health condition. We invite you to share the animation among your colleagues, friends and family, and help us to raise awareness on mental health issues of people living with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus!
